Case Study - Cooling Tower Replacement

Replacement of four existing Cooling Towers with three new units was performed in two stages to allow uninterrupted services at LSU's Veterinary Science Facility. The installations required routing, detailing, and fabrication of supply and return piping.

Utilizing the existing foundations, structural steel and existing isolation valves created a difficult piping arrangement in a limited area. Installing new pipe support prior to scheduled tower removal and replacement minimized the effect on the facilities physical plant. Through careful planning and safe execution, completion of project was achieved ahead of schedule to the satisfaction of all involved.

Since that time, we have worked on numerous projects, either as a sub or prime contractor. Using our in-house staff, we provide the routing and drawings needed for fabrication and installation.
